What is your definition of beautiful?  Dundee-Crown junior, Gabe Solarte, created an amazing video called the "Beautiful Project." Click here to find out DCHS' definition of beautiful.  [You can copy and paste this into a web browser:]

From April 5th-17th, the work of hundreds of students from across the Fox Valley Conference will be on display for the Annual Fox Valley Conference Art Show at McHenry County College.

Each year, art teachers from the 15 schools choose outstanding work from among their students and classes to represent their department. Work may range from traditional drawings and paintings to digital photography, graphic design, mixed media work, and 3D pieces such as sculpture, ceramics, or jewelry.

In February, District 300 provided families with an update on state level assessments scheduled for April and May. District 300 will use these assessment results in combination with classroom level performance to determine individual, school, and district needs for growth, proficiency, and advancement.

District 300 is proud to host the Piano Festival at Dundee-Crown High School on Saturday, April 9.

Click here to view a booklet with general information and student performance information.  Questions should be directed to your child's music teacher here at Dundee-Crown.

On Tuesday, March 15, Dundee-Crown High School will administer the ACT test to all juniors and the IACT test to all sophomores.  School will start promptly at 7:30am (regular time) and students will be dismissed at the completion of the test.

Freshman and seniors will not be in attendance on this day.

Just a few test day reminders:

Hello Dundee-Crown Parents and Students,

At the start of the school year, the District revised the District’s calendar and we wanted to take a moment to communicate a school calendar clarification to all our DCHS families.

On March 4, our staff will be attending a county-wide institute day and students WILL NOT be in attendance.  The DCHS student handbook has an incorrect date printed and students WILL be in school on February 26.

NOVEMBER 16, 2015

9th grade and 12th grade students will attend their regularly scheduled classes and lunch without any changes
