College 101

If you are a current junior who needs help navigating the college admissions process, have we got a deal for you!  DCHS will be piloting College 101 this summer the week of June 3 to June 6.  From 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. guest speakers will be brought in to help you develop a college major, find your best fit schools and then develop a short list.  You’ll learn how to afford college, fill out the FASFA and search for scholarships as well as the differences between high school and college.  You will also visit Elgin Community College, Aurora University, Northern Illinois University and Judson University.  This program is entirely free, however a parent or guardian must accompany you and space is limited to 25 students.  For more information, contact Mrs. Gavigan at or by phone at 224.484.5182 or Mrs. DiCosola at or by phone at 224.484.5044.
