Junior Kane County Board Application

The Junior Kane County Board is a body of students who will learn about American self-governance, Parliamentary Procedure, the structure of county government, and the ways that students can have a positive impact on the Kane County Community.

The Junior Kane County Board is an all-inclusive program. All students nominated will be invited to participate in quarterly meetings. 2 students will be selected to represent a district as a Junior Kane County Board Member with one member designated as Chairman of the Board. All other students will act as alternates and be invited to take part in meetings as members of the audience. Students must be 16 years of age or older and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher to apply.

Please attach at least one letter of recommendation from an instructor, coach, employer, or spiritual leader explaining why the student would be an asset to the Junior Kane County Board.
